IAA forms alliance with FX Entertainment

IAA is proud to announce its relationship with FX Entertainment, one of Melbourne's premier entertainment agencies (www.fxentertainment.net). Director, Rearna Constantine, is one of the most well-respected entertainment figures in the industry, and we will be working closely to give IAA students the opportunity to perform at various gigs both locally, nationally and internationally.

IAA now in PRAHRAN

IAA has just joined synergies with HELLO MUSIC (www.hellomusic.com.au) - working with its director/entrepreneur Karen Kim, IAA now has an exciting new studio in Prahran, on the fashionable Greville Street. Karen Kim, whose work with music is taking her to the Cannes Film Festival, is on the forefront of talent development amongst young kids!

IAA works with PAULINI and DEAN GEYER

IAA has been consulting/writing for Idol stars Paulini and Dean Geyer as both head towards new solo releases. Watch this space as IAA works hard to consolidate its strength in the Australian Music Industry, to give its students the opportunity to work with some of the country's most outstanding talent.

IAA, with Yin Yang Productions, secures NO 1 Japanese Album

IAA, with Yin Yang Productions, has secured its first NO 1 Album in Japan through the band ARASHI. Set to sell platinum, this band continues to be one of Japan's biggest selling acts.

IAA proudly sponsoring Highpoint's Star Search Competition

IAA is very proud to be sponsoring Highpoint's Star Search Competition. IAA appoints new US acting and vocal coach

IAA is proud to welcome CURTIS SKINNER to the IAA Team. Curtis will be looking after the ACTING department for the academy as well as being one of IAA's vocal coaches.

Curtis is a seasoned professional both as a teacher and performer. Having performed/toured extensively throughout the world, he has starred on BROADWAY (New York) as lead actor in RENT, whilst also attaining the role as Aladdin for The Disney Channel. Having also recorded a number of children's albums, he is also a voice-over artist for a number of TV/commercials on Nickelodeon.

As a vocal and acting coach, he has taught at Universal Studios Hollywood, Disneyland, Bright Ideas School of Creative Arts LA.

We are very proud to have Curtis as part of the IAA team as we forge towards our goal of giving our students an international-flavored approach to music/creative development.

IAA with Yin Yang Productions gain TOP 3 Release in Japan

IAA, in conjunction with Yin Yang Productions, has achieved its first TOP 3 release in Japan with the country's biggest band "Kat-tun". This is the first major release for the IAA and YYP team in Japan, with another major release with the band "Arashi" scheduled in April.

IAA Student Achievements

Congratulations to IAA student Mike Snell who has recently landed strong roles in both The Boy from Oz (starring Hugh Jackman) and Miss Saigon which is currently touring around Australia.

Congratulations to IAA student Alicia Bonnie who has recently qualified for the final of Australia's Got Talent for 2008.

IAA secures contract with NBL's South Melbourne Dragons to provide singers for the National Anthem

Chairman of the National Basketball League's South Melbourne Dragons, Ryan Gardiner, has recently asked the International Artist Academy to showcase its new talent at all South's games. IAA, with Yin Yang Productions is proud to announce that it has secured an international management deal with renowned management team Mozart & Friends (www.mozartandfriends.com ) - having worked with music powerhouses such as P.Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Fink (Prince), Popstars/Idols Germany etc, Mozart & Friends will assist YYP continue its climb up the ranks of international music (see Yin Yang Productions page)
